Ingredients:
- 1 1/2cups butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon pure lemon extract
- 2 1/2cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 3/4 cup 7-Up
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Spray cake pan with cooking spray.
In mixing bowl mix butter and sugar
Add eggs one at a time and beat well.
Add lemon extract.
Add flour.
Add 7-up.
Mix to smooth consistency.
Pour into cake pan.
Bake for 1 hour.
Test doness by sticking toothpick in middle, it's done when it comes out clean.
Take out and allow cake to cool on rack for 15-20 minutes.
Serves 6
